Heating Cable - CC

The heating cable generates 3 watts per linear foot producing a powerful 12 watts per square foot at a 3 inch spacing. 

This type of 2 way cable may be installed without having a return path to the thermostat providing for a quick and easy installation.

The concept of the coaxial type allows the cable to reduce 99,9 % of electromagnetic fields.

Using the braid as a return path insures the cable additional protection and greater flexibility.

Construction
Electrically insulated heating element which has a return conductor consisting of a concentric braid. The heating element and its conductor are protected by a concentric ground braid sheathed with a PVC jacket.

Controls
All heating cable thermostats are:
• electronic
• equipped with a ground level, in-floor temperature sensor
• equipped with a GFI (ground-fault interrupter) detector

Installation
The system can be installed under most types of floor coverings: ceramic tiles, slate, marble, granite, floating floors, laminates, wood, vinyl tiles, linoleum, carpeting, etc.
